Grandstand Project

In 2000 the Grandstand Committee was formed to coordinate and help raise funds to rebuild the Rodeo Facilities that not only house Frontier Days but provide a place for many organizations and activities throughout the year.

The completed facility now has 1525 seats with 18" seating, 16 handicap spaces, and a roof that covers the entire seating. Completed cost was $210,652.

It took over 3300 volunteer man-hours, $8875 in donated use of equipment and $1156 in donated electical materials and installation. It was a great project for the community and it was a delight to see decendants of the 1963 era volunteers working on the replacement grandstand.
